Windmill at the Oxley Creek Common

$400.00

The Oxley Creek Common is special place to me, it’s a beautiful space that’s full of life. This is a Plein Air Painting that I made in early July on a very windy day. The process of this painting is on Youtube (video titled “Plein Air Painting: A Peaceful Paddock (kinda)”).

To accompany this painting I wrote this poem:

Tempestuous weather reigned

down in the southern cities

But for a gale afternoon

our grey windmill looked pretty
